“Hopefully. one day I can be up there with Peyton in terms of history.”
Andrew Luck was a first team All-American at Stanford. Luck won the Maxwell Award, the Walter Camp Award, and twice was runner-up for the Heisman trophy. Andrew Luck has played for the Indianapolis Colts for three years, led them to three 11-5 seasons, and three playoff appearances. Andrew Luck is the son of former NFL Quarterback, Oliver Luck.
Andrew Luck’s first three years in the NFL have been excellent. There have been very few quarterbacks so successful at such a young age. Andrew Luck has a “terrific head on his shoulders” as does his predecessor, Peyton Manning. It is truly incredible that the Indianapolis Colts were able to go from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck at the quarterback position. In addition to his arm, his awareness, and his ability to make decisions, Andrew Luck is very strong physically ( 6’4 240 lbs.). Luck has absorbed a lot of punishment during his first three years, but it hasn’t stopped him. Barring a serious injury there is no doubt in my mind that Andrew Luck will be up there with Peyton – “in terms of history”.
